The following Memorandum of Agreement was ratified on September 9, 2017 by the members of CUPE 4186 in attendance at the ratification meeting. Please read carefully, as there have been a few changes made to the original trial period document.
This news has just been released (see more information attached below) regarding the “remedy” resulting from the Charter rights challenge fought by CUPE against the provincial government. A ratification vote will be conducted on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Please continue to check this website and your emails for confirmation of time and location. The vote and remedy will be for CUPE members employed in the education sector during the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 school years. If you were not an employee during that time, you will not be eligible to vote. Please plan to attend the ratification vote on the 24th. Thank you
